FLIGHTSEEING....CHUGACH EXPLORER. THE BEST WAY TO KILL TIME IN ANCHORAGE BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT
Check your bags, then we take you on a flightseeing tour before your flight home! This is the most creative way to wait for your flight home or use half of your day upon arrival in Anchorage before heading for Seward. This company will pick you up at the airport upon your arrival or after you've checked your bags. If you prefer, or if you are too early for your flight and would like to bring them with you, they can store your bags in the office during your tour.

Once you are all settled and ready, you will notice that you are in the middle of the largest seaplane base in the world. This short 30-minute flight will take you over the Chugach Mountain Range in Chugach National Forest. You will be able to see the typography, the secluded valleys with the Dall sheep feeding on its slopes.

You will also have a chance to fly over the Captain James Cook's Turnagain Arm, frequented by where beluga whales. Especially interesting is the view of Anchorage and how it rests between the mountains and the water. It will be a great time to reminisce your past vacation or to anticipate what's coming.

This tour is fully narrated by your bush pilot. You will be able to converse with him over the two-way intercom system.

FLIGHTSEEING...OUR MCKINLEY-DENALI EXPRESS - IN THREE HOURS
Forget the 7-hour one-way trip to Denali - this captures everything in a moment.  This is the ultimate - and the most popular tour this company offers. You will travel within 6 miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit. The flying time is about one hour one way to the south side of mountain peak. You will also fly over the entire length of Ruth Glacier and the Great Gorge, as well as other glaciers on the way.

Your plane will touch down for a 15 to 20-minute rest stop for a photo stop and then take off once again. As you examine the massive south face of McKinley, you might even see climbers headed to the summit.

Then, once you return to the hanger, you and your luggage will be taken to the airport, where you can catch your flight or a transfer to town.

FLIGHTSEEING...PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND GLACIER TOUR ...TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS
Prince William Sound has the greatest concentration of tidewater glaciers, most unaccessible by boat. The area of Prince William Sound is over fifteen thousand square miles, full of fjords and inlets and dozens of tidewater glaciers next to jagged mountain peaks. Actually this area has the greatest concentration of tidewater glaciers in Alaska, including the Columbia Glacier in this equasion. The Columbia Glacier itself is 40 miles long and more than three miles wide at its face, rising 250 feet above the water. Although still huge, it has been in rapid retreat averaging about a half-mile a year. This has filled Columbia Bay with small icebergs, making it dangerous for tour boats to navigate too far.

When you take this trip, you will see these beautiful fjords and inlets from above. The clear, crisp water will allow you to spot marine life. The white background makes it easy to see otters, eagles, seals and black bears. Your pilot will know just where to land to give you an opportunity to take home some outstanding photos.

You have the option to add an additional 30 minutes to this trip to see the Columbia Glacier as well as Prince William Sound.
    Departures (Local Island Time):  09:00 AM (2.5 hrs)  10:00 AM (2.5 hrs)  02:00 PM (2.5 hrs)  05:00 PM (2.5 hrs)  07:00 PM (2.5 hrs)
    Pricing:  Per Person: $213.00 USD
